With about 200 m of light yellow sand and calm waters, Veloso is the last beach that can be reached by car from the south of the Island. This very peaceful beach is more visited by the local population than by the tourists since those who like a lively environment, go to Curral and those who are seeking peace and quiet, usually choose the beaches more to the north, perhaps because they are unaware of this retreat.
